A boutique estate on the island’s eastern side near Vourvoulos, Vassaltis was built by Yannis Valambous on plots inherited from his family. Its varietal Mavrotragano — whole-cluster fermented on indigenous yeasts and aged in French and American oak — gives the grape a precise, contemporary reading.
